Ringlink FAQs (frequently-asked questions)

Category: Main -> Customization -> Style

Question
·  What files can I change to _really_ customize Ringlink to suit my tastes?
·  Where can I add my banner-logo on the top of newsite.pl and can I add my own css-style?

Answer
·  What files can I change to _really_ customize Ringlink to suit my tastes?

The *html.pm files control the look and feel of Ringlink.

·  Where can I add my banner-logo on the top of newsite.pl and can I add my own css-style?

A ring logo, added via "Ring admin - Customize appearance", is visible on the list pages (list.pl, stats.pl, etc.), but not on newsite.pl, at least not at this time. If you have installed Ringlink yourself, and are using it for one ring only, you can insert a ring logo in admhtml.pm.

As regards CSS, the color codes and a background image can be set from "Ring admin - Customize appearance". If you have installed Ringlink yourself, you can change other CSS settings in the *html.pm files.
