Ringlink FAQs (frequently-asked questions)

Category: Main -> Using Ringlink -> Framed Sites

Question
·  My member's site uses frames and even though I can surf the ring, it fails the ring checker. What is wrong?

Answer
·  My member's site uses frames and even though I can surf the ring, it fails the ring checker. What is wrong?

You might want to check in your ringadmin page and see if your ringmember has the framepage with the ringcode url listed in the htmlcode url section of the siteadmin.

For example:

If the main frame url http://www.yoursite.com and the ring code is in the main frame, then the url should be listed in the htmlcode url http://www.yoursite.com/main.htm

(thanks to Lanny for the solution!)
