Well, I've installed Ringlink and I got a series of errors having to do
with files that had not yet been created (by the system) and some that I
needed to create but is not documented.

codepage.txt
I'm not sure what the difference is between,
htmlpage.txt and codepage.txt ??
I've setup a page with a test server side "nav bar"

Using examples I found PREV, NEXT and LIST have "ringid" and "siteid"
parameter.
I've tried all three numerous times and they work great. However, the hits
data does not increment in the db files (they are all still "0" size.
Am I missing something? The site folders and empty "db" files were created
just fine. So a write to these files should work. . .
I see "Automatic siteID generation" on the to-do list. Sure would be nice.
. . I'm just using numbers starting with 1. Works for me but when new
users start applying to the ring its going to get confusing. Could the
site ID's being single digit numbers at this point be part of the hit count
problem.
The current setup is temporary. I may host the Ringlink code from a
different URL so I won't register it with you until I have decided on a
permanent home.
