I've installed Ringlink and I got a series of errors having to do
with files that had not yet been created (by the system) and some
that I needed to create but is not documented.
I don't understand what kind of errors you are talking about.
addmail.txt
addpage.txt
htmlpage.txt
codepage.txt
These files should be automatically created by the program when you add
a new ring.
I'm not sure what the difference is between,
htmlpage.txt and codepage.txt ??
htmlpage.txt contains the HTML code, and codepage.txt the text on the
"Get code" page. (Why do you ask?)
the hits data does not increment in the db files (they are all still
"0" size.
Am I missing something? The site folders and empty "db" files were
created just fine. So a write to these files should work. . .
This is simply because the stats feature isn't implemented yet (i.e.
it's not an error).
Could the site ID's being single digit numbers at this point be
part of the hit count problem.
