So, if the ringmaster's address is ringman@xxxxxxxxx - and a new site at
anything@xxxxxxxxx is added, the ring master doesn't receive a message?

As the RM, I get a message sent to me when someone joins. However,
in the To: field, it is not my address specified, but the new

Right, the ringmaster address is put in the bcc field, not the cc field.
Thanks, my mistake.

When I submit a site to my own ring with a site's webmaster address that
goes to the same server as the ringmaster address, I receive just one
copy of the message. But when the addresses goes to different servers, I
get two copies.

Does this possibly explain your observation, Loren?
