Never mind about the tab deliminator question - I have it working like a charm
now to provide a public search until Ringlink has its own (mine is not quite
public yet, but not too far away :)
In case anyone is curious, it took me about an hour to setup DBMan to work with
the RingLink database (to provide search functions only). It is available from
http://www.gossamer-threads.com

Subject: [ringlinklist] db format?
|
| Since it will be a while before the search is implemented in Ringlink, I was
| thinking about trying to use Gossamer-Thread's DBMan with the Ringlink
database.
| Though DBMan uses a "|" as the default field deliminator in its db, you can
set
| it to whatever you need. What do I need to enter to match Ringlink's "tab"
| database field seperator?
|
| Sorry for the dumb question - just starting to learn perl : )
|
| Thanks.
