Yes Gunnar, this is correct, these instances seemed to occur at the
time when things were hanging some in the sendmail after activating
a new site to the ring.

Possibly; I have no good answer, and I don't feel comfortable about it.
This is something that has to be more thoroughly investigated.
Even Tracy has reported a similar error, but without many simultaneous
submissions.
If anybody else has experienced it, please let us know.
Also , I have another question. I have another ring site that wants
to use your script however they want auto assigned site ID's. Can
an auto number be assigned and what files would I need to modify to
accommodate them?
This is on the Ringlink project list. If you want to change it, you'll
have to study how the script works in this respect - it can't be easily
described - but I don't recommend it because of the many changes that
will come (including the option to auto-assign site ID numbers).
