My comment about access to the system, ( I tried this myself) when anyone
submits to the ring, an email is send to them, with the ring info and they
are
taken to the page you see after you join, there are buttons to get the
code,
and delete their site info. If they wait a few minutes, before they do
anything, the email is sent to them ( but not to me yet ) if then they use
the
delete yout site button, the only email I get is the one telling me they
deleted their site. I don't get the email telling me they joined, or
anything
info about them.

Would it be possible.. after filling out the membership application form...
to have the program send them to a *thank you page* telling them that their
application has been received and their site will be reviewed for
membership. A response by e-mail will be sent *after* the site is reviewed?

You would still need the program to send *you* a notice of application
waiting. But it would prevent them from being able to delete their own info
and prevent other sites from displaying the ring code that are not valid
members of the ring.

Not sure that this is of any help... jus thinking out loud ;-)
