We know that many old Ringlink versions are in use, and extensive

Well, I have rings with 8 Ringlink systems, and only yours is using the newest version, and when I had previously asked the other 7 why they had not upgraded to the latest version, 5 gave 'extensive mods' stuff as the explanation,

Do you know anything about the nature of those modifications? Maybe some of them could be implemented in the original program. But then we need to know what they are about. And maybe some code...

As to PHP My Ring, isn't there a English install translation in the
English download for the program (should be, I did the
translation)?

Yes, there is. Didn't know I had to download the language file separately. (I'm sure it was properly stated in French in the main file. ;-) ) Maybe I'll give it a try later.

I see there has been only 1 vote on the poll I setup ions ago 'Most
desired new feature'?

That poll isn't really up. It's only visible to the Ringlink developers.

Is the new website a bust? I think you mentioned elsewhere that it
needs work......?

Well, personally I had hoped that some people would write articles. Presentations of good Ringlink systems and/or webrings is one possibility, for instance.

It's correct that I think the site needs work, and then I'm primarily
thinking of the docs and the FAQ. To be honest, I promised almost a
year ago to do some initial work with it, but haven't done it yet.
